Redmi Note 9 Pro Review: Great Value Even Against Strong Competition

Redmi Note 9 Pro

Design: All about balance

This has to be the best smartphone in the market right now and I will tell you why. Most different and distinctive has to back the panel of the phone. There is the Aurora blue, at the right angle that can act as a mirror in a pinch thus making it a scuff magnet and a fingerprint. The Redmi note pro has a camera module that is centrally mounted instead of a vertical arrangement that has four sensors enclosed in a rectangular sector with a flash below it. The big problem lately has been turned to the fingerprint reader. Also, the phone has a power key that is extremely fast when it comes to unlocking the phone. The button is placed in a place that you can easily reach it with one hand. Some may find a USB-C along bottom edge aside with the microphone jack. Seeing the phone at the front you will notice that the size is slightly bigger 6.67inch display and tall with a 20.9 ratio and a cut out for the front camera.

Performance: Perfectly adequate

Talking of the RAM, the gamers are advised to take a phone-based with 4GB of RAM. This is the best choice proving from the future-proofing point of view either because you will hold another phone a few years to come.

Big battery, slow charging

Xiaomi offers large batteries of 4000mAh in phones. Of which Note 9 pro has upgraded with 5020mAh which is enough for a long day of heavy use. The phone has a battery life of 6hours 22minutes thus charging with a speed of 18W and it takes 140 minutes to top up the battery from scratch.

How’s the camera on the Redmi Note 9 Pro

The quad-setup of the phone includes an ultra-wide sensor of 8mp, a deep sensor of 2mp, and a macro sensor of 5mp. The primary shooter is a 48MP Samsung GM2 sensor. That is a contrast of a 64MP camera in the previous model. Xiaomi has introduced a higher tier which is Redmi Note 9 Pro Max that has a 64MP sensor and well known in charging fast.

Redmi Note 9 Pro is good at shooting ultra-wide images, or in portrait mode. Shooting with the wide-angle sensor, the dynamic is a bit limited though the white balance can slight off.
